How to configure ACH processing fee?
Stripe supports accepting ACH payments—direct from bank accounts.
With Plaid integration, instant bank account verification is done and customers can authenticate directly with their bank in real-time.
ACH payments on Stripe cost 0.80%, with no monthly fees. So, a $100 payment incurs a $0.80 fee; any payments above $625 cost $5. This can be especially useful if you routinely charge customers large amounts on a recurring basis.
On the first transaction by ACH payment method $1.50 per bank account authorization is charged (only charged one time for recurring donations, assuming bank account is not changed). This amount is non-refundable.
ACH payment method can be configured for fundraisers, school stores, and enrichment programs. Admin can configure ACH processing fee for the fundraiser so that they can decide the percentage they want to charge or they don’t want to charge any processing fee. Three option are provided:
1. Absorb card processing fee
2. Require the donor to include the card processing fee in the donation amount
3. Request the donor to include the card processing fee in the donation amount
